The grief therapist begins telling his clients exactly what he thinks. He ignores his qualifications and ethics, yet makes huge changes in other people’s lives – including his own. The “Shrinks” share the key moments that shaped their characters in Season 1 and reveal who does the best Harrison Ford impression. When Brett Goldstein, Jason Segel, and Bill Lawrence were asked how they managed to get Harrison Ford on the show, Segel said Goldstein originally wanted a “Harrison Ford type,” and was willing to listen to people like Ford. Segel told Goldstein that they should at least pitch it to Ford first because they thought he would reject it outright. But at least the others would learn that Harrison Ford was involved in the project, which sparked interest from other big actors. Eventually, Goldstein talked to Ford and sold him the role. Goldstein still doesn’t understand what he did to convince them, but he’s cheered up nonetheless. Featured in WatchMojo: The 10 Best TV Shows of 2023 (So Far) (2023). This show is a slap in the face!! The characters have developed a lot in the first and second episodes, the jokes are perfectly timed and executed, and all the actors do an excellent job! This is one of the best Piolet episodes I’ve seen in a long time! Harrison Ford is wonderful in his supporting role and Jason Segal is excellent as a flawed, troubled character trying to be a better man and father. This is one of the best performances I have seen in a long time! This show made me laugh harder than I have in a long time. As a psychology student, I find the show incredibly funny and as a theater student, I appreciate how beautifully the script flows. I don’t understand the negative reviews as this is one of my favorite shows after two episodes. I hope the rest will be just as good!!
