Kabul: About 15 people, mostly foreigners were killed when a suicide bomber blasted off. The incident was occurred outside a popular Lebanese restaurant in Kabul, the capital city of Afghanistan. The location hosts many embassies, restaurants and catering centers meant for expatriates.
Islamist Taliban insurgents claimed that they are responsible for this untoward incident. The International Monetary Fund (IMF) said that their representative in Afghanistan was the one who killed among the 15. Meanwhile, United Nations (UN) claimed that three of their staffs were also died in the blast.
According to UN sources such targeted attacks against civilians are completely unacceptable and shameful as far as the international humanitarian law is concerned. They demanded the authorities to stop such brutal deeds immediately.
