44 political prisoners released by Myanmar

Yangon: Politically related people who were imprisoned during the military rule in Myanmar are set free. This is as per the decision taken by the Myanmar president to release political prisoners. The president has the intention to release all such prisoners by the end of this year. These people were imprisoned in 1992 by the military ruler Thanshaewa. But the current President who came in to power in 2011 was deciding to release these political prisoners
