Atlanta: A child was set free after the abduction by annoying his kidnapper with a religious sacred song.
Youngster Willie Myrick was snatched outside his house in Atlanta, Georgia and kept inside a car for three hours.
He had obviously been taken to the vehicle with the promise of cash, before being taken by a man who is now the subject of police investigations.
But his ordeal was cut short because he refused to stop the singing of a popular gospel song.
Willie was singing Every Praise over and over, annoying the driver of the car to such a degree that forced to let him go.
Lyrics to the song include “Sing hallelujah to our God, Glory hallelujah is due our God, every praise every praise is to our God.”
The 10-year-old boy told WXIA-TV that the kidnapper opened the door and threw him out. He was warned not to tell the matter to anybody.
