Brasilia: Adidas has agreed to stop selling two raunchy T-shirts, months ahead of the World Cup to be commenced in Brazil.
The decision was following the complaint from the government that the products are indications of sexual tourism.
Currently, the government of Brazil has been campaigning aggressively to remove the country’s reputation as a center for sex tourism.
On one Adidas T-shirt, there displayed a bikini-clad woman with open arms on a sunny Rio De Janeiro beach under the word-play “Looking to Score”.
In the second T-shirt having words “I love Brazil”, there displayed a woman wearing a thong bikini bottom exposing her buttocks upside-down.
Adidas, who are currently the world’s second-largest sportswear maker, said that the T-shirts would not be sold anymore.
