After working to eradicate polio from the country Amitabh Bachchan said that his next intention is to work for the development of female children. The Bollywood megastar was in collaboration with the United Nations for his venture against polio.
Amitabh Bachchan, 71, is happy to work as UN ambassador for female Children. He has made great success during polio eradication campaign and expects similar success in this venture too.
He said that he was working determinedly to achieve the target for the last some years. As UN ambassador for eradicating polio, he has been succeeded to bring an end to the drastic ailment. According to him India will be a polio free nation the by end of 2014. Now he is so proud that he could contribute for the very essential national cause.
As the UN ambassador for female Child, Amitabh Bachchan has expressed his hopes to bring about certain essential changes for female children as he had done during the eradication campaign of Polio. In this regard, Amitabh Bachchan has expressed his view points on Facebook.
Amitabh Bachchan, the acting stalwart was appointed as UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador in April 2005 and since then he has featured in many advertisements and campaigns to increase awareness on polio disease.
