Melbourne: In the Australian open Tennis, Roger Federer coped up with the Melbourne heat and reached into the third round with a 107-minute 6-2 6-1 7-6 demolition of Blaz Kavcic.
Because of the extreme heat, they were playing under the closed roof of Hisense Arena. Earlier the match played on the outer courts were forced the authorities to suspend.
Federer, who has not yet dropped a set in the tournament, will meet either 31st seeded Spaniard Fernando Verdasco or Russian Teymuraz Gabashvili in the third round.
