Thiruvanandapuram: Bahrain’s social welfare minister Dr. Fatima Al Balooshi said that women should be given more opportunities to expose their abilities to deal positions having more powers. According to the minister women are very reluctant to commit corruption when compared to men. She blamed the society for not giving high positions to educated women. She wanted women to come forward and take-part in public activities. She said that the childhood marriage cannot be allowed for any cause. She has the opinion to give counseling to matured girls before they get married. She has also talked about the arrangements made by the Bahrain government to provide counseling to matured girls. The minister was talking during her visit to the Mathrubhumi Office at Thiruvanandapuram.
