China’s Premier Li Keqiang said that his country wants to keep-up peaceful relationship with its neighboring countries. He was speaking during his annual interaction with the media on account of the National People’s Congress in Beijing. He said that his government is committed to build-up a “favorable” environments by narrowing differences with its neighbors even though there are some territorial issues.
Mr. Li said that China has been upholding a constant dream of safeguarding its territory and sovereignty, but at the same time committed to ensure a peaceful periphery.
According to Chinese Prime Minister, his country is still under development and it needs a favorable neighborhood as well as international environment for its modernization. He has pointed out that during the interaction with neighbors there may arise problems of some kind or other. As long as the neighboring countries respect each other, clear differences and enjoy mutual benefits; love and harmony among neighbors can be established.
In addition to the Prime Minister, Chinese President Xi Jinping had also participated in the people’s congress.
