Israel: It has been found out that the technology behind the missile defense system (Iron Dome) that Israel has been using since 2011, was stolen by Chinese military hackers.
The said hacking was taken place from October 2011 which was actually six months after Iron Dome became operational.
As per the reports from the sources, the hacking was continued until August 2012.
Israel Defence Forces (IDF) has said that majority of rockets fired from Gaza, particularly during the current military operation and a series of clashes that had taken place during 2012, were operated by the aforementioned system.
This is considered to be one of the most effective missile-defense technologies in the world.
