New Delhi: It is reported that Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi has opened a new management room for the party making the old one absolutely spare. Sources said that this new arrangement is to speed up the election campaigning process of the party.
The old room which is located at Gurdwara Raqabgunj Road is being run by Congress President Sonia Gandhi’s assistant Jairam Ramesh. But it is said that the real management of the party activities are now from the new party room located at Rahul’s home in Tughlaq Lane and Jawahar Bhavan. As per the reports young Haryana minister and party spokesperson Randeep Surjewala has been asked to manage the party activities from this room.
According to some sources this new arrangement has left many Congress veterans almost jobless and several senior congress leaders nominated by Sonia Gandhi are not being asked to involve in the current movements of the party.
