Moscow: President Vladimir Putin has made arrangements as a first step to absorb the Crimea region of Ukraine into Russia. This is considered as the most significant redrawing of Europe’s borders since World War II.
Mr Putin officially informed the parliament about the willingness of Crimea natives to join Russia and instructed the national branches of power to approve an agreement for Crimea to become part of the country.
Russia’s acquisition of Crimea has worsened its relationship with the West. The threat by America and the European Union only made the Kremlin to become more aggressive. In a recent television coverage, the Kremlin’s chief propagandist, Dmitry Kiselev, said that Russia is the only country in the world who can reduce America into a nuclear ash.
