Washington: Shoppers at a US mall were in shock and fear after they found a four feet long potentially dangerous crocodile roaming around the building. The Nile crocodile was spotted wandering in the shopping plaza in California earlier this week.
According to police, someone would have abandoned the crocodile in a container in front of the Serpentarium, a reptile specialty business center.
News 10′ reported that the creature, which had a duct tape around its snout, would have got out of the container and started roaming around the mall.
A Serpentarium employee said that they had to call animal control to capture the roaming Crocodile.
Later the crocodile was lassoed, placed in a cage and turned over to the California Department of Fish and Wildlife.
According to the agency spokesperson Patrick Foy, the four feet long crocodile could be a serious threat to the people nearby.
