The Shark-Cam created by environmentalist to study the behavior of the ocean’s top predator from its natural habitat was equipped with six GoPro cameras.
The Shark-Cam displays footage of the sharks in the ocean as they emerge from the inky darkness to target the foreign object.
One of the sharks then move in for the kill by taking the entire camera in its colossal jaws and try to shake the life from it.
The footage was filmed near Guadalupe Island off the West Coast of Mexico.
According to the conservationists, the Shark-Cam, accurately explains how the giant fishes hunt their prey.
As per the footage, the husky camera had physical involvements for a number times with great white sharks and survived several direct attacks.
It has helped scientists to study sharks’ behavior as well as their hunting strategies.
