Jail ADGP Senkumar has criticized the movie ‘Drishyam’. The main actor of this movie is Mohanlal. The Jail ADGP said that the movie conveys wrong messages to the society. He was addressing an awareness program organized by the auto drivers.

He had strong opinions about the ‘blackmail ‘ scene in the movie and the circumstances under which it is developed in the movie. According to him if women are victims of blackmails they have to contact the police immediately. He pointed out that in fictional stories there is no meaning in explaining such concepts and said that actor Mohanlal should have thought this matter before doing the movie.

Meanwhile, the ADGP said that stern measures are to be taken against the vehicles that violate traffic rules and cause accidents. The action against them should not be based on the size of the vehicles. Currently, if the mistake was committed by a smaller vehicle, the bigger vehicles are also taken into custody. He wanted to create an alteration to this method.

He said that both Home-guards as well as traffic police need awareness classes. According to him, many police officers in charge of the traffic duties are unaware about the traffic rules
