New Delhi: An effective cell for the public grievance is started in Delhi on Saturday. The intention of such a cell is to solve the grievances of the public amicably. As a part of their venture, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal together with his ministers will listen to public grievances every Saturday.
Under the new system, there are options to ask the complainants whether they were satisfied with the process of grievance rectification. If their answer is negative a team of volunteers would then deal with the matter.
There will also be a monitoring system in association with the cell. The complainant receives SMS asking him to reply once the grievance is solved by the cell side. If dissatisfied, the team of volunteers will get in touch with the complainant and see whether his condition is genuine. Then the volunteers will hand over responsibility to the officers concerned.
