An artistic education project has been organized on account of this by the Ġ.F. Abela Junior College and local theater group Troupe.
The aim of this project is to bring students belonging to the age group of 16 to 19 and raise awareness about social and economic realities, which can lead to poverty and social exclusion, while proper education and social justice offer a way out of this inhuman circle.
The main object of this Mini-European Theater Festival is to promote a spirit of cooperation and artistic development which can be established in a strong social context. The event includes tremendous performances in acting, voice and movement by each of the participating groups and theater workshops.
In addition, the experience gaining through the event will help promote inter-cultural understanding among the participants. This is highly important as far as their molding as the citizens of Europe is concerned. The idea is to establish contacts and long-term relationship with performers of other countries.
