Gives time extension to Aam Aadmi Party (AAP)

New Delhi: Central Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shindei has stated that time extension is required to form a government in Delhi by the Aam Admi party. So the proposal to declare president’s rule in Delhi will not take place immediately. Earlier, AAP had requested the Delhi Lt. Governor to extend the timeframe to form a Government. The new decision of the AAP will be declared on coming Sunday.

In the recently finished Delhi Assembly elections no party had got the required majority to form a government. But in the election, the Aam Aadmi party had secured the second highest seats next to BJP. Recently, congress has expressed their willingness to support AAP for forming a government. Thus, AAP requested some more time to take a decision regarding the Government formation in Delhi. The tenure of the Delhi legislative assembly was over by the 18th of December. Now the ruling has been carrying out by the Lt. Governor Najeeb Jung.
