New York: A new Google Glass app has introduced that can take picture of a diagnostic test strip which in-turn can send the data to a computer. This enables the patient to collect the respective diagnostic report instantly.
It is found that the Google Glass which is a wearable computer device, can potentially save lives especially in isolated or far-flung locations.
In the app, Google Glass’ built-in camera is used to take a picture of a diagnostic test.
The app could also help researchers to trace the spread of diseases around the world.
Aydogan Ozca from University of California, Los Angeles said that it is an highly appreciable matter
that it can detect the emerging public health threats in advance before an epidemic arises which can cause the loss many lives.
