New Delhi: High level officials from FIFA are coming to Cochin to assess the arrangements in connection with the under 17 world cup football tournament to be held after three years. They will be examining the important football playable grounds in India including the Jawaharlal Nehru stadium in Cochin. Their proposed visit to India will be either by the end of February or during the first week of March. Their reports will be highly valued for choosing the venues of the tournament. Meanwhile Indian football federation has designed an outline for bringing up a reliable football team in view of the world cup tournament going to be held in India. The project has been designed by AIFF technical director Robert Ban and coach of the Indian team Vim Koovermanns. Both of them have proposed to bring expert foreign coaches and to conduct more practicing matches to mold a world standard Indian team.
