Lagos: The mesmerizing cultural entertainment in Lagos called the Lagos Black Heritage Festival (LBHF) which began on April 14th will be concluding on April 21st. On the inaugural day of the festival there were grand parade of the masquerades followed by the performance of Obakoso. The venue of the cultural festival is at Freedom Park (Old Colonial Prison), I Hospital Road, off Broad Street, Lagos.
Other performances during the LBHF are two dramatic premieres which featured an array of wonderful talents displayed with unpredictable presentations. One of the Lagos prides and cultural signature called the Boat Regatta will be performed with colorful display at the lagoon which will be followed by the Street Carnival. This cultural festival is to welcome the forthcoming Easter.
Other scheduled performances during the week-long celebration includes Mammy-water’s Wedding by Bode Sowande, Olodumare musical concert by Wole Alade.
Apart from these, there are art exhibition named Vision of The Child (VOTC) as well as the Lagos Street carnival.
