Lionel Messi scored twice while Cesc Fabregas also netted twice to enable Barcelona to have a 4-0 win in King’s Cup.  Messi was given a rousing ovation by the home fans when he replaced for Andres Iniesta in the 64th minute. The World Player of the Year was playing for the first time after his injury on thigh muscle in November.

Messi was seemed to be fit and sharp during his half-hour play on the pitch. His successful return was really good news for Barca coach Gerardo Martino. His second goal was absolutely a trademark of his game. He got the ball from the right wing and he left the rival defenders splashed before trying to lift the ball high into the net. Thus he could provide a sensational victory to his team.

In an interview with Spanish television broadcaster Antenna 3,  Barca captain Carles Puyol said that his teammate Messi hasn’t forgotten the way of playing football.
