New Delhi: The employees provident fund organization has decided to renew the monthly minimum pension as Rs. 1000 /=. The decision taken by the labor ministry is handed over to the Finance ministry. Since the election for the parliament is nearing, the matter will be taken for consideration as early as possible.

At the same time, the social security program under the E.P.F will also be increased from Rs. 6500 to Rs. 15000. By this, about 50 lakh people can also enjoy the benefits from the program.
