As natives were busy in welcoming New Year at Toronto Area, a Mississauga mom was busy in giving birth to twin daughters. Even though the twins were born within a timeframe of eight minutes, their date of births were amazingly fallen under different birth years.

The mom Lindsay Salgueiro is so proud that she could give birth to the last baby of 2013 as well as the first baby of 2014. This unique coincidence was at Mississauga’s Credit Valley Hospital.

Baby Gabriela was born just before the New Year midnight, while her sister Sophia was born 38 seconds after the New Year midnight. The expected delivery date of the mom was after January 19^th. The arrival of the twins on the New Year was really a surprise to the couples.

The mom, who also has two boys, was happy to view these healthy girls. The proud new mom said that the excitation caused to her was not gone till that time.
