Hamilton: A mother has been accused for overdosing heroin at a McDonald’s play area near Cincinnati. The woman who was with her boy friend at that time accused of child endangerment.
The woman, Tamica Jeffers was apologizing in front of Hamilton County court after reaching a plea agreement with prosecutors.
In exchange, prosecutors dropped a second charge of child endangerment.
The 33-year-old Jeffers, of Dillsboro, had denied the usage of heroin and told the Judge Fanon Rucker that she had a seizure after her boyfriend overdosed in a McDonald’s indoor play area.
At that time, the couple were with the women’s two children, a 5-year-old girl and an 8-year-old boy.
Judge Rucker sentenced Jeffers for six months imprisonment, with credit for 132 days. Jeffers’ boyfriend, 37-year-old Robert Palmer, had sentenced for six months imprisonment during the previous week.
