fifth anniversary of Mumbai Attack (26/11)

Mumbai: India marked the fifth anniversary of the Mumbai attacks on Tuesday with memorial services and prayers to honour the 166 people killed in the attack.Victims and government ministers laid wreaths at a memorial in south Mumbai. On  26 November 10 LeT terrorists  launched coordinated attacks across key locations in Mumbai killing 166 people, including American citizens.  The pakistani terrorist Mohammed Ajmal Kasab, the lone survivor of the attack was hanged last November after a lengthy trial for his role in the attacks.Security was strengthened at the places  including the landmark Taj Mahal Palace hotel which will hold its own private memorial service later in the day.The US on Tuesday asked Pakistan to bring to justice the perpetrators of the 2008 Mumbai terror attacks, saying it was an assault on the collective safety and security.
