Abu Dhabi: 30 individuals are accused in UAE for trying to establish an organization called ‘Muslim Brotherhood’. The trial was conducted at the UAE Federal Supreme Court. They were accused of anti-national activities and punished for a period of three months to five years imprisonment.
Among the 30 accused, 20 individuals are Egyptians while the remaining 10 are UAE nationals. The charges against them were conspiracy and disloyalty. It is said that their activities were a threat to national security. They were also accused of collecting money from the public for the activities of the Brotherhood organization. The accused Egyptians will be exiled from UAE once they completed the duration of their punishment. The UAE federal court has demanded the authorities to stop all the direct and indirect activities of the Brotherhood and recover all the materials related to the organization.
