New York Times want legalization of Marijuana

United States: The most authoritative paper in the United States has put its weight behind the federal legalization of Marijuana.
The fight to end the criminalization of marijuana has been in place since 1937.
The New York Times editorial Board is wanted to lift the ban on Marijuana
According to them the current ban is creating severe harm on society since marijuana is far less dangerous than alcohol.
It is said that more and more states in the United States are found liberalized their marijuana laws to overcome the federal ban.
In view of this, they want a national approach to the issue.
The New York Times acknowledged that there are severe concerns about the usage of certain forms of marijuana by minors.
Thus, the editorial board of New York Times has insisted for restricting the sales of marijuana to those under the age of 21.
Addressing other health, social and legal concerns, the board has written that there are no perfect answers to this issue.
