Abuja: Police officials in Nigeria have offered a cash reward of $300,000 (£177,000) to anyone who can help the government for locating and rescuing more than 200 abducted schoolgirls.
They were kidnapped from their boarding school in the north eastern state of Borno by armed Islamist militants belong to Boko Haram, more than three weeks ago.
Police have said that eight more girls between the ages of 12 and 15 have also been kidnapped from the north eastern Nigeria.
Meanwhile, United States of America has offered assistance to the Nigerian police for rescuing the abducted school girls by tracing out the Boko Haram hide outs.
