Fatwa has been charged to Hollywood epic movie ‘Noah’s Ark’ by one of the most respected Islamic institutions in the world. According to the religious center source, the concept of the movie has been violating the Islamic laws.
Noah’s Ark is Russell Crowe’s £75million budget film which has also been banned in three other Arab countries. Religious leaders of these countries have complained that the movie has depicted the Biblical figure – who is also a holy messenger in the Koran.
The movie which has been proposed to launch later this month, will not be shown in Qatar, Bahrain or the United Arab Emirates. Several other Islamic countries are expected to follow suit.
