Multinational smartphone giant Nokia is all in a hurry to launch its new Nokia X range of Android-based smartphones in the Indian market. The decision came within nine days after its introduction at Mobile World Congress in Spain.
The company has sent out announcements for an event scheduled to take place on March 10. It is expected that the launch of the Nokia X smartphone ranges with forked Android version to the Indian market will be announced during that period. Even though it is not confirmed, the company has proposals to announce Nokia XL as well as Nokia X smartphone ranges.
On February 24, at the M W C at Barcelona in Spain, Nokia had unveiled three smartphones.
The online mobile phone retailer ‘The Mobile Store’ has included Nokia X in their latest arrival lists. According to their information, the phone availability date is on March 15 whereas the retail price of the product being Rs. 8500/-
Nokia has also announced the price of these phones in the European markets with Nokia X as 89 euros while the price of X+ and XL models as 99 and 109 euros, respectively.
Regarding features, Nokia X and X+ are with 4-inch screens and 3 MP fixed-focus cameras. Nokia X has 512 MB RAM, whereas the X+ features 768 MB of RAM.
