Washington: President Barack Obama has made discussions with his top war advisers regarding the uncertainty of US troops in Afghanistan. Recently the Hamid Karzai government had refused to sign a bilateral security agreement put-forth by America.
Even though Obama had an effective meeting with his defense personals, he has not yet made any decisions whether the US troops have to continue there in Afghanistan.
White House Press Secretary Jay Carney told reporters that the President has to consider opinions from military officials, as well as the intelligence community, US diplomats and developmental experts.
Obama has also met with Vice President Joe Biden, Secretary of State John Kerry, Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Gen Martin Dempsey and commander of US and NATO forces in Afghanistan, Gen. Joseph Dunford.
