Cologne (Germany): Bogdan Ionescu is a theatre box office worker with one hand and he used to ride bike with his one hand only.
But this time, the one-armed cyclist has received an apology after being fined for riding his bike with only one hand.
Unfortunately, Bogdan Ionescu was hit with an undignified €25 (£20) charge because he had only one hand-brake on the left side of his bike while no braking mechanism on the right hand side of the vehicle.
He was stopped by the German police while riding his bike in Cologne.
According to the police officials, this was an obvious violation of road safety laws.
The theatre box office worker received the penalty notice even after legally modifying his bike with another brake which can be operated with his foot.
But Mr Ionescu received an apology by revoking his fine when the story was picked up by the local and national media.
