Osama Bin Laden’s son-in-law will appear in front of Manhattan court, for a trial regarding conspiracy to kill Americans in his role as an Al- Quaida spokesman.
Prosecutors will try to convince an anonymous jury that Sulaiman Abu Ghaith was attempted to rally terrorists to execute further attacks on Americans after the attacks of September 11, 2001. Prosecutors have plan to show videos in which Abu Ghaith making statements with Bin Laden on the day after the World Trade Center attack while in another video he promises more equally devastating attacks.
Abu Ghaith is considered as the most powerful alleged member of al-Qaeda who has been in America since the attacks on the World Trade Center.
