Bhubaneswar: Former BCCI treasurer and Punjab Cricket Association secretary MP Pandove has questioned Sreenivasan in the BCCI working committee regarding India’s meager performance in the recently concluded series in South Africa and New Zealand.
The Mahendra Singh Dhoni led Indian side had lost both Test and one day cricket series against both the countries.
While IPL issue dominated during the discussion of the working committee, Pandove was questioning India’s recent poor show at overseas.
Pandove said that it is a matter of pride that Mr Srinivasan would be taking charge as the chairman of the ICC Board and asked to furnish reasons about India’s poor show in South Africa and New Zealand.
The president said Mr Pandove that he has to analyze the situation based on the discussion made with the supporting staff of the Indian cricket team including coach Duncan Fletcher. Srinivasan has also made assurance that he would be again meeting the supporting staff once the ongoing ICC World cup Twenty20 at Bangladesh comes to an end.
