Paris: Chanel designer Karl Lagerfeld has delighted the Paris fashion show with a new breed of deep-pocketed customers.
The collections were absolutely just like those who have worn it. The displayed varieties were young, modern and in many cases Asian.
Boys with spiky-hair were worn hats which supported on the back of their heads while cycling shorts and flat sandals were with tied ribbons in a bow around the ankle.
Bags with long straps were slung around the body like school baggage.
Asked about the youthful feel on collections, the designer pointed out that not many customers were interested in clothes with an ‘old’ look. He desired that if there was a future, it could be like this.
Lagerfeld has drawn inspiration for his collection from one of the pioneers of modern architecture.
