Rio De Janeiro: Football legend Pele has unveiled an unusual line of diamonds using strands of the footballer’s own hair.
The man of many regards as the ever best football player of all the time presented the ultimate super-fan souvenir in Sao Paulo ahead of the World Cup football tournament that Brazil is going to host within two months.
The diamonds are made using a high-pressure, high-temperature process during which strands of Pele’s hair are charred.
The limited edition includes 1,283 diamonds — one for each of the goals scored by the only one King of football.
The gems cost about $7,500 per piece and available in a gold-plated box
