Bermingham: A poodle branded dog named Ricky has won Crufts, the famous dog show event. The two-year-old puppy beat six other best branded dogs in the group to win the final of the Crufts competition. The enchanting event was conducted at Birmingham’s National exhibition center which attracted by more than 21,000 dog lovers from Britain as well as overseas.
Ricky and his co-owner, Jason Lynn from Preston, were given the confirmation by judge Jack Bispham last night after being assessed for overall health, condition, coat, character, temperament and movement.
After the declaration of result at Birmingham’s National Exhibition Center, Mr Lynn said that Ricky had given an absolutely beautiful performance.
Despite the magnificent and well-groomed coat, Ricky was won the competition in the utility dog category.
Runner-up was Dan the Man, the Samoyed, who was being shown by Sue Smith from Upwell in Norfolk.
