Rahul Gandhi wants to choose CWC members thro


New Delhi: Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi wishes to conduct organisational elections to choose partyleaders including Congress Working Committee (CWC) members and office bearers such as general secretaries.
Rahul dreams a transparent elections in the entire party, like the one in the Indian Youth Congress and the NSUI.
AICC general secretary Ajay Maken said that the congress vice president wants to introduce elections in the party at all levels.
Even though Rahul had introduced elections in the IYC and NSUI, the national presidents of the two bodies are not selected through internal polls.
According to Congress sources the process of selecting Congress candidates in the next elections will be entirely different.
Meanwhile, with respect to the feasibility of the primary experiments to select candidates for the 17 constituencies in the coming Lok Sabha elections, Rahul is planning to bring up the same methodoly during the Assembly polls too.
