London: For a marriage in the family of the steel king Lakshmi Mittal, the amount spent was 60 million Euros. That is about Rs. 505 crore. The Sunday times has reported that Lakshmi Mittal’s younger brother Promod Mittal has spent Rs 500 crore for the marriage of his daughter Shristi Mittal with Gulraj Behel, an investment Banker. The venue of this magnificent marriage was at Barcelona in Spain. According to the Spanish news portal Vanittas, this marriage can be considered as one of the five expensive marriages in the history of the world. One of the Barcelona municipality employees said that the function would come as second among the five expensive marriages. He was referring as per the calculations collected from the Forbes magazine. In the year 2004 Lakshmi Mittal had spent 46 million euro for the marriage of his daughter.
