Jaipur: In India, the educational administration in Jaipur district has reduced the working hours of schools due to the prevailing excessive heat conditions. The Collector of Jaipur has asked the primary and middle school authorities to run the institutions only during morning hours. This new decision is applicable for classes one to eight only. In these areas extreme heat conditions have been prevailing and the maximum recorded heat is 45.6 degrees Celsius.
Concerned over the increased heat conditions, the parents’ welfare society were asking the district administration to change the school timings.
The said order is meant for both government and private schools.
