Scientist from Kerala has developed a 360 deg


Orlando (United States): An Indian scientist in US has developed a television which can provide visibility through 360 degree. Thus the viewers sitting around the television can access the programs equally. This new Television set up is on the basis of nano technology.
Unlike 3D televisions, the spectators need not use any special spectacles for viewing the television programs. As a motivation to his result oriented works, a grant of $ 4 Lakhs (Rs. 2 & 1/2 crore) has been offered to him.
He has been working in Florida University as Asst. Prof. Photonics and Material Science department. His name is Jayan Thomas and belongs to Kerala state in India.
For this invention he was working in association with Carnegie Mellon University Associate Professor Rongchao Jin chronicle.
The grant has been offered to him by the National Science Foundation (NSF) in USA.
