New Delhi: The runway of Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi was closed due to severe fog. This forced the authorities to abandon four flight services from the airport. 13 international services and five regional services were delayed because of this climatic condition. As per the reports, altogether 27 flight services meant to start from Delhi were cancelled. Altogether 209 flights were delayed because of the aggravation of the fog on Sunday, January 5th. On that day, the temperature in the airport was 7.8 degree Celsius. The adverse climatic condition was affected train services too. It is said that about 28 train services from Delhi were indefinitely delayed on January 5th, Sunday.
