Khost (Afghanistan): Two journalists were said to have shot in Afghanistan at a small remote town near its border with Pakistan.
According to a spokesman for the Governor of Khost province, the assailant was actually a policeman.
Naqibullah, a policeman in Tani district of Khost, was firing on two foreign journalists happened to be in that locality. One was killed on the spot while the other wounded badly.
Last month, a prominent Afghan journalist was killed along with eight other people when a Taliban terrorist opened fire inside a heavily fortified luxury hotel in the center of the capital, Kabul.
