Hilltown: In celebration of winter and the great outdoors, At the Hilltown Land the celebration of winter aggravation is observed with Snowshoe races. This time the organizers are in an effort to bring fun and joy throughout the event. During this occasion there are activities over the day for all ages and the event begins with a 1-K snowshoe race around the rolling fields of the Bullitt Reservation in Ashfield. Snowshoes will be available to participants on a first-come, first-served basis. In the competition, teams of three can enter a snowshoe relay race. For children in the age group 5-12, there will be a fun-run obstacle course. The peculiarities of this race is that the children have to overcome obstacles like hay bales, balance beams, and a ski pole slalom. Winners of the race get prizes sponsored by the Country Pie Pizza Company, Elmer’s, and the Ashfield Hardware Store.
