Sometimes, the oldest living man may be from


Varanasi: It is said that the oldest living man is in India. His name is Mahashta Mûrasi
and staying in northern India as a retired cobbler. According to Mahashta Mûrasi, he was born in January 1835. If this is true, he will be not only the oldest man on earth, but also the ever long lived, according to the Guinness World of Records.
After referring records, the Indian officials said that the man was born at his home city of Bangalore on January 6th 1835, and has been living in Varanasi since 1903. He worked as a cobbler in the city until 1957 and retired at the age of 122.
He said that he has been alive for a long duration while his great grand-children have also been dead years before. According to Mûrasi the phenomenon ‘death’ has been forgotten him and wants to enjoy it as well.
