What is ‘SUVA’?


New Delhi: The global act ‘SUVA’ is the presentation of unlawful acts against safety of maritime navigation and fixed platforms on continental shelf act of 2002. This is an international agreement which was designed and signed in the year 1998. India is one of the 161 members who signed for the treaty. According to this agreement, death sentence is the punishment for the killings as well as terrorism in the sea.
