Los Angeles: Police officers of Alhambra in Los Angeles had to make a rather unusual ‘arrest’ when a huge runaway reptile was spotted on the loose.
Officers then posted an appeal on their Facebook page with an intention to track down the owners of the 11 stone beast.
Two Police officers were required to take this guy into custody because the weight of the creature was nearly 150 pounds.
The unusual appeal by the policemen clicked and by the next day the tortoise, called Clark, could reunite with his owners in Alhambra.
Well wishers on the social networking website were highly pleased, since the story had a happy ending.
