Mumbai: A mass marriage ceremony has been conducted at Mumbai on Sunday, May 11th. The marriage was organized by a Muslim voluntary organization in Mumbai. About thirty five brides as well as bridegrooms were participated to make this grand occasion highly memorable. It was really spectacular to view the couples getting married at a stretch in the mass matrimony. The brides were worn ornaments and well dressed with colorful attires. Their hands were beautifully decorated by designs created with henna. The couples have also taken vows as a preliminary step for entering in to their new married life.

In another occasion about seventeen christian couples have also joined in holy matrimony in a mass marriage ceremony at St. Peter’s church in Mumbai.

Unlike other marriages mass marriage has an unique attraction.
