Washington: It is said that Ukraine Hackers have brought down several public NATO websites fearing the interference of US in the Crimea issue. This appears to be the latest situation in the global cyberspace regarding the growing tensions over Crimea. The Western military alliance’s spokeswoman, Oana Lungescu, said on Twitter that the Cyber attacks, which started on Saturday evening, had been continued till Sunday. But now, most of the services could have been restored eventually. The situation had not created any obstruction to command and control their forces. One NATO official said that currently there is no risks in their networks. NATO’s main public website (www.nato.int), which had carried a statement by Secretary-General Anders Fogh Rasmussen said that the referendum on Crimea’s status which conducted on Sunday was against the international law and lack credibility.
